2024 Walk for Hope

A heartfelt thank you to our Durham Catholic learning community! Throughout May and June, our amazing students, families, and staff participated in the Walk for Hope in support of the Durham Catholic Children's Foundation.

Donations for the Walk for Hope have raised $13,035! These funds will help to provide essential services to DCDSB students and families in need. This financial assistance ensures the provision of basic needs, so students are able to participate in all aspects of school life and have a better opportunity to reach their full potential.

About the Walk for Hope
Schools across Durham Catholic District School Board will be participating in the Student Walk for Hope in support of the Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation in June 2024. Students and staff will be invited to donate “virtual” toonies to support Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation initiatives. Funds collected will assist the Foundation in helping children and families in the Durham Catholic District School Board. The purpose of the Foundation is to ensure that students in the Durham Catholic District School Board can attend school with the basic daily necessities of life provided. In addition, it supports students’ participation in all aspects of school life, enabling them to work towards reaching their full potential.

All donations will be made through School Cash Online. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 board-wide! 100% of the donations go directly to support the initiatives of the Durham Catholic Children's Foundation.
