On May 11, 2023, the 9th Annual Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation Gala was held at the Ajax Convention Centre. The gala honoured the Most Reverend Vincent Nguyen and our Distinguished Catholic Alumni. Aubrey Noronha, a recipient of the 2022 Distinguished Catholic Alumni Award, was the keynote speaker, and shared his views on equity and anti-racism. The night included door prizes, a very successful wine pull, a silent auction, and so much more. Through ticket sales and the support of our generous sponsors, we raised $20,645.
