I am pleased to present the 2023 Annual Report for the Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation. This report reflects the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and work following the COVID-19 pandemic. I encourage you to visit our website for more information on the Foundation. This report hopes to share our accomplishments and shine a light on all the positive impact we’ve made in our community.
This year, we are proud to have supported over 178 students and families across 33 schools. I want to thank my fellow Board of Directors, donors, sponsors, staff, students, families and community partners for their ongoing commitment to ensuring that students and families in our Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) learning community feel welcome, seen and supported. Since the Foundation was established in 2014, the Foundation has raised over $550,000 which has directly supported students and families in need.
I want to acknowledge and sincerely thank the support of the following members of the Board of Directors who concluded their term in the fall of 2023:

The Foundation is blessed to have the unwavering support of DCDSB staff and Foundation volunteers that work diligently and dedicate countless hours to ensure that DCDSB students have access to basic life necessities. Thanks to everyone involved in organizing our special signature events, including the Gala, ForeTheKids Golf Classic, Walk for Hope and many other local school events that have raised funds for the Foundation.
